Simply a Mommie: Dorney Park

On Sunday, June 22, 2014, my friend and I decided to take our 2 yrs. olds to Dorney Park. I'm not sure if anyone has ever heard of it, but it's in Allentown, PA. The kids loved it very much. Anyways, we were able to get a great deal on the tickets too. So why not. The weather that day was hot, but not too cold. About 80 degrees with about 2 - 4 mph of wind. The water temperature was great for the kids, but the lazy river was a bit cold. I'm not sure if it was because we had to leave Lollipop Lagoon to the Wildwater River and got dried up along the way, so by the time we got in, it was freezing cold water at the lazy river.

However, we did not do anything crazy for ourselves, as this was a trip for our kids. After the water park, we went to visit Planet Snoopy. I believe our kids only did 1 ride at Planet Snoopy and then we tried our luck by winning some games. Let's just say, we used about $60 and won nothing. Then, we went to feed the ducks and let the kids rode their last ride, which was the Road Rally. We were surprised that they allowed our 2 yrs. old to ride it with a supervised adult. Anyways, the kids really enjoyed it that by the time we got in the car and drove off, they went to sleep. I've uploaded some pictures below, enjoy!
